The Story

Gyproc SoundBloc F is a high-performance acoustic plasterboard that provides superior sound reduction for internal walls and ceilings. Thanks to its dense Gypsum core and paper-lined surface, this board reduces noise significantly compared to standard plasterboard. It's used especially in environments where acoustic control is a priority, such as residential flats, apartments, offices or shared living spaces. The paper-lined surface also ensures it's ready for plastering, painting, wallpapering or light decoration.

Benefits

  • High-quality and long-lasting acoustic performance
  • Surface can be plastered, painted, papered or lightly decorated
  • Suitable for multiple applications
  • Easy to handle and install
  • Improved comfort and quality of living

Good to know

  • The board does not add structural strength, loads must be carried by the supporting frame
  • Follow the standard dry-lining practices for cutting, fixing and joint finishing
  • Boards should not be used in high-moisture areas
  • Correct joint sealing and fixing patterns will help to achieve the best results
  • Heavier than standard plasterboard
  • May be used as part of a multi-layer system
