The Story
Insulation UK has introduced theĀ Unilin (Xtratherm) PIR insulation half board, measuringĀ half the size of a normal PIR board at 1.2m x 1.2m. This is a convenient & practicalĀ board which can be used where space to manoeuvreĀ or store PIR boards is limited. This is the thinnest PIR insulation on the market.
Benefits
- Being 1.2m x 1.2m makes the boards easier to transport. If storage space is limited these boards are the practical solution.
- Low thermal conductivity 0.022w/mK
- Ideal for pitched roof insulation
- Suitable for use in conjunction with underfloor heating systems
- Easy to cut with a sharp knife or insulation saw
- Suitable for new build or refurbishment projects
- Square, straight edge ensuring there are no gaps & therefore minimises thermal bridging.
