Recticel PIR insulation offers optimum stability in a variety of conditions including low & high temperatures, humidity, moisture sunlight & UV. Available in a range of thicknesses from 25mm to 160mm to suit the requirements of your project. Recitcel PIR can also be used in internal walls, ceilings & loft. Recticel PIR insulation, can be used for retro-fit & new build projects.
Benefits
-
Low thermal conductivity at 0.022 W/mK
-
Will not deteriorate when exposed to moisture
-
Fire rating is Class 1 to BS 476 (part 7)
-
Can be used with underfloor heating
-
Easy to cut using a sharp knife or insulation saw
-
Square, straight edge ensuring there are no gaps and therefore minimising thermal bridging
-
Foil face can be used a vapour control layer
-
Suitable for use in commercial & domestic buildings.
-
Thermal performance of these insulation boards helps reduce energy consumption and therefore lowering CO2 emissions
-
Eurothane GP is manufactured using blowing agents with zero Ozone Depletion Potential (ODP) and low Global Warming Potential (GWP), minimizing its impact on the atmosphere
Good to know
- Although moisture resistant, PIR is not waterproof. It is always best to store in a dry environment and away from direct sunlight.
- A standard board is 2.4m x 1.2m giving a 2.88m² coverage
- Bespoke cutting is available, find out more information here
- When installing PIR insulation in a pitched roof this specification guide may be of help
- This handy guide for floor insulation helps you understand insulating different floor types such as solid floor and under screed.
